The Voices are Loud and Make Me Shout
The Voices are Loud & Make Me Shout is a memoir in poetic style, written for the recovery process of creatively applying a literary voice in imagery. This book seeks for others to understand the scope of the violence and exploitation of incest and child abuse perpetrated against its victims. It seeks to highlight to those suffering from incest and child abuse, as well as those professionals treating these individuals, the importance and emphasis of working with coping strategies coexisting within the person seeking resolution. It seeks to nurture one's own unique voice for self-expression in order to actualize victory over the violations. It is to share the creativity that saved a child strangling in abuse, so that others can know that healing and hope is still possible.
Written by Donna Eder, MA,
Foreword by Mary Lou Petty, MSW, LCSW
